Oak Cliff Secondary

Nuts and Bolts of Ms. O'Connor's class

Welcome to Ms. O'Connor's pages!
This is my seventh year teaching Spanish in public schools in the United States.  It is my fourth year teaching at LIFE school Oak Cliff.  After graduating from Nimitz High School in Irving, TX, I studied at Wesley College where I earned a B.S. in religious education.
. After college I studied and graduated from the Spanish Language Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica.  This is a one-year intensive Spanish course.  I lived with Costa Rican families as I was immersed in the language and culture. After that,  I worked in Honduras as a missionary for several years.
I earned my master's degree in Theological education in 2000, and taught in a  university in Bolivia for 6 years.
Now I am back in the USA and loving my time at LIFE Oak Cliff.  It is a privilege to teach your students.  I teach Spanish and College Transition.  I am available for tutoring on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 4:15-5:00, and in the mornings from 7:35-8:00 by appointment.
